The Lawai International Center presents the 12 annual Pilgrimage of Compassion on Sunday, August 12, 2012.  Participate in a meditative pilgrimage for peace, compassion, and healing as together we walk the path of the 88 shrines at The Lawai International Center.

Ancient Shakuhachi (Japanese Flute) melodies performed by Grand Master Riley Lee accompany each step of our journey.  A rare hula appearance by the children of Ni`ihau, Kekula Ni`ihau O`Kekaha and the pulsating drums of Taiko Kaua`i opens the event.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella.  If possible please carpool and attend early due to parking.  There will be a bonsai exhibit, ikebana demos, bake sale, silent auction, mochi & taro pounding demonstrations.

Gates open at 1:30pm and the program starts at 3:00pm.  Donations are accepted.
