My attachment to Poipu started decades ago—it was love at first sight.  Born and raised in southern Illinois and educated at the University of Hawaii, seconds after my first glimpse of Poipu’s glittering and spacious beaches, I knew southwest Kauai would be my home. Rather than dream of Paradise I decided it was time to live it!
